The Process

Each pot starts with a block of wet clay. I mostly use a Stoneware from Planesman - M 340 which fires at Cone 6 - 2200 °F).  There are two bags per box and I can get around 14 pieces per bag)

There are three ways to create pottery pieces:

•  on the wheel
• hand building
• pouring slip and casting in molds.  

I focus on the wheel and hand building.
